No dia 25 de outubro seis ativistas da campanha internacional SHAC (Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty) foram condenados e presos por acusações relacionadas a luta contra o maior laboratório de vivissecção do mundo, a Huntingdon Life Sciences, que mata 500 animais por dia em seus laboratórios e tortura outros milhares a cada instante.
A Alfie Fitzpatrick foi dada uma sentença de 12 meses, mas suspensa por dois anos. Sarah Whitehead recebeu 6 anos. Nicole Vosper recebeu 3 anos e meio. Thomas Harris recebeu 4 anos. Nicola Tapping recebeu 15 meses. Jason Mullen recebeu 3 anos.

On October 25 six activists of the international campaign SHAC (Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty) were convicted and imprisoned on charges related to the larger fight against vivisection lab in the world, Huntingdon Life Sciences kills 500 animals a day in their labs and torture thousands every moment.
