Chapada dos Veadeiros

This book is the result of several manuscripts of the prospector and sertanejo José Raimundo de Oliveira, born of the need to provide a memory of mining crystal Chapada dos Veadeiros whose stories began to be cleared by the incipient tourism activity. In this work, the author brings together their impressions, experiences and stories of former residents of the region, showing the gold mining within the period from 1911 to 1990.
It is thus not only a life story but many stories of Brasil.
